The first day begins with introductions and an activity to start sensing energy. We will cover the training manual material: Reiki Basics, Principles & Precepts, The Traditional Reiki Story, and Self-Healing Technique with time for questions and discussion. After a short break, Teagan will conduct an attunement ceremony, attuning each student to the Reiki Energy so that you may access and channel Reiki energy for yourself and for others. After the ceremony, we will allow time for meditation and journaling, setting intention for our Reiki practice. The first day concludes with guided practice offering oneself a full Reiki self-healing session.
When we reconvene for the second day, we will touch-base and see how everyone is feeling before reviewing the training manual material on Healing Others and Conducting Complete Reiki Sessions for Others. Students will pair in partners, and Teagan will guide the group in practicing offering Reiki Healing to another. After a short break, partners will switch roles as giver and receiver. We'll take time to reflect and conclude with discussion and answer any remaining questions.
This eight-hour Level I Reiki Training prepares students to use Reiki Energy Healing for themselves and for others, and includes the Training Manual and Certificate of Completion. Please register in advance; space is limited to 12 students.

Reiki sessions are excellent for pain-relief, stress-relief, and deep relaxation. The Reiki energy guides an intuitive sequence of gentle hands-on massage specific to the client in the present moment. In activating acupressure points and reflex points, we balance and regulate the body's energy flows, and reboot the lymphatic system, which is essential for healthy immune function and detoxification. Reiki works on all levels--physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual; clients sometimes experience a release of old emotions or memories that have been manifesting as aches or tensions in the body. The deep relaxation these sessions induce allows clients to move from the sympathetic to the parasympathetic nervous system, activating the natural healing processes that normally function during deep sleep; many clients sleep through the entire session. Wear comfortable loose clothing, natural fabrics are best, and avoid wearing extra accessories or jewelry. Sessions are 60 minutes of healing work, with some extra time to chat before and afterward.
