In Yin Yoga we move slowly, taking extended time in postures to allow our awareness to turn inward, becoming present with the sensations in the body, the qualities of the breath, and the patterns of the mind.  We may use support from props to assist in finding stillness, which sometimes can feel challenging despite our intent to relinquish any effort and find full relaxation.  Each week our practice will focus on one of the seven main chakras–the energy centers along our central channel–and we will explore the qualities and themes associated with each, whether cultivating stability, creativity, confidence, compassion, expression, intuition, or connection.  While you are encouraged to explore the full journey starting with the grounding Root Chakra and moving upward toward the expansive Crown Chakra, these classes can be enjoyed as individual practices as well.  You are invited to come and slow down, soften, listen inwardly, and create a little more space for yourself.  Please bring a yoga mat, water, and anything that will help you feel comfortable and supported through longer holds. In the space there are mats for rent for ₡1,000, mats for sale for ₡10,000, and blocks and props free to use
