Publicity by Teagan
For any teachers, healers, artists, or guides who align with the Coco Yoga and Wellness purpose and values and wish to include their offerings within the community, Teagan offers publicity to boost participation in classes, groups, workshops, events, or one-on-one sessions.
WEEKLY Classes or Groups
Weekly classes may be added to the schedule at any time with a commitment to teach at least one full calendar month, and an intention to continue for at least three months. Publicity for weekly classes includes:
For the initial posts Teagan will write a polished description of your offering, working from either an existing description you have available, an outline of key details you provide, or a conversation dedicated to defining and describing your offering. Please provide to be included a corresponding photo or image, requested class dates and times, and your preferred contact for participants to join the class [website, email, phone number, or social media handle]. Ideally instructors will commit to a regular schedule for an extended period of time, whether classes are once or twice a week or month. Subsequent posts will build upon what we've created corresponding to our aims and process.
Teagan offers this publicity service for a minimum fee of $20 per class and a flat-rate commission per participant based on the length of the class as follows:
- a monthly post on the Coco Yoga & Wellness webpage at the top of the appropriate page [Yoga, Healing, or Arts];
- a monthly post on the Coco Yoga & Wellness Instagram and Facebook pages;
- a monthly share in either the Coco Yoga Community or Coco Arts Community Facebook groups;
- inclusion in the Coco Yoga & Wellness 'Weekly Classes' posts, which are posted each month; and
- use of shala space to convene and record the series of classes or groups. [Participants may attend the recordings in person as space allows. Classes may be 60, 75, or 90 minutes, and there will be at least 15 minutes available before and after classes for set up and clean up, though this 15-minute transition interval may overlap with that of the following class or workshop].

Teagan offers this publicity service for a commission of 33% of event sales with a minimum fee of $20 per event hour. The number of participants and total event sales should be reported and commission paid directly following each event.
- A post on the Coco Yoga & Wellness webpage at the top of the appropriate page [Yoga, Healing, or Arts];
- A post on the Coco Yoga & Wellness Instagram and Facebook pages;
- A share in either the Coco Yoga Community or Coco Arts Community Facebook groups;
- inclusion in the Coco Yoga & Wellness 'Upcoming Events' posts, which are posted every 2-3 weeks; and
- use of shala space to convene and record your event or workshop [Participants may attend these recordings in person as space allows. There will be 15 minutes available before and after for set up and clean up, though this transition interval may overlap with that of the following class or workshop].

Private CLasses or One-on-One Sessions
Publicity for instructors, healers, artists, and guides offering private classes or one-on-one sessions includes:
For private sessions a commission fee is due as follows:
- a polished bio included on the Coco Yoga & Wellness webpage on the appropriate page [Yoga, Healing, or Arts]. Teagan can work from a bio you have on hand, bullet points of key details to include, or a dedicated conversation to cover pertinent information. Please provide your photo and preferred contact for participants to reach you [website, email, phone number, or social media handle];
- a post on the Coco Yoga & Wellness Instagram and Facebook pages;
- a share in either the Coco Yoga Community or Coco Arts Community Facebook groups;
- inclusion on the Coco Yoga and Wellness referral list, which is updated monthly and provided to clients or potential clients who inquire about services via the Coco Yoga and Wellness webpage, email, WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram pages. This list includes your name, photo, contact information, offerings and rates; and
- use of the shala or healing space to convene and record the class or session.
For private sessions a commission fee is due as follows:
- 33% for private sessions held in the shala, minimum $20/hour (same pricing as events);
- 25% for private sessions offsite that Teagan has coordinated for instructors;
- 15% for private sessions with clients who have connected with instructors through Coco Yoga & Wellness publicity or shala;
- 0% for private sessions with clients who have connected with instructors outside of Coco Yoga & Wellness publicity or shala.
policies
Cancelations & Rescheduling
Once a time and date are confirmed for a class or event, the publicity agreement is in place with responsibility to pay the minimum fee. Should the class or event be canceled, the minimum publicity fee still applies and is due by the month's end. If the event can be reprogrammed for a later date, the minimum fee will count toward payment for the new date. A specific class or event can be reprogrammed only once--within a two-week period for classes, and a year for workshops. Give as much notice as possible, minimum 24 hours, and reprogramming is dependent on scheduling availability.
Payments
Payments should be made in cash in dollars or colones. Colones will be valued at the public bank rate of sale for the day of payment. Events and workshops should pay directly concluding the event, while weekly classes will settle at the end of each month.
Space Upkeep
The homeowners (Teagan & Kendall) will ensure that the shala space is cleaned on a regular basis, but cannot clean daily. Instructors and leaders should plan to sweep before and after their offerings, to clean up any mess from their groups, and alert the homeowners of any issue needing attention. Other than water, food and drinks should be kept out of the shala. Groups are welcome to use the equipment in the space; a rental mat system will be implemented soon.
Teaching Elsewhere
If you are presenting your offerings at other locations in Playas del Coco or Ocotal, we need to ensure that the pricing is comparable across locations. If you are presenting your offerings at other locations within a one-kilometer radius of the shala, then we should not establish a working relationship as it doesn't make sense on my end to offer publicity and have participants join at neighboring locations.
