Sessions start seated with a conversation to set intention, then Gaëlle may begin with guided breathing exercises and/or aromatherapy, which act as a physiological cue or invitation to enter into a state of serenity. Accepting this invitation and allowing yourself to lie down comfortably, you will experience the vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls, the gong, Koshi chimes, and various other instruments whose frequencies encourage the nervous system into the parasympathetic mode for deep rest and recovery. The experience of these sounds is pleasant and soothing, and they resonate on a primal level restoring coherence in the body’s rhythms. While different thoughts or emotions may arise during the session, once the work is complete you may feel incredibly relaxed, at ease, centered, and calm. The Prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor speaks of two societies–the people of the Eagle who lead with the mind, orient toward industry and technology, and embody masculine energies as explorers and pioneers–and the people of the Condor who embody feminine energies, prioritizing heart over mind, and moving with intuitive and creative sensibilities guided by mysticism, a spiritual way of perceiving life and reality. The prophecy refers to a time when human societies chose these divergent paths; the long time they never would intersect; the time when they would meet again, the Eagle overpowering and almost annihilating the Condor; and an overturning of time, a portal that brings both birds to fly together in a single sky, uniting and giving rise to a new human consciousness.

We’ll open with the introduction of facilitators and participants and an overview of how the ceremony will unfold. Our activities will include:

Intentional sharing of cacao;
Raising the sacred fire and calling upon the four guardian animals of the Andean Chakana;
Explaining important elements of the Andean Cosmovision and the Prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor;
Energy cleansing and traditional Amazonian harmonization;
And shamanic sound healing to integrate and appreciate our experience.

Please bring water, a yoga mat, and an enthusiasm to immerse in the experience. In the space there are mats for rent for c1,000, mats for sale for c10,000, and cushions and props free to use. Bring what you need to care for yourself and be comfortable.

Reiki Energy Healing with Teagan Patell

Reiki Energy Healing regulates and balances energy flows, which may relieve pain from the physical body, stress from the mental body, burdens from the emotional body, and blocks from the spiritual body. The Reiki Energy guides a healing sequence specific to the person’s present needs, and a treatment may include attention to the energetic field around the body, stationary holds or hand placements on the body, and gentle pressure at acupressure and reflex points. These sessions induce deep relaxation, which shifts the nervous system from sympathetic to parasympathetic functioning, activating the body’s natural healing processes. Wear comfortable clothing–natural fabrics are best–and expect to empty pockets, remove jewelry and belts, and undo the hair to experience the deepest level of comfort and allow the energies to cycle freely. These sessions combine acoustic instruments with subtle binaural tones to support the nervous system and guide the brain toward states of calm, focus, and deep rest. The soundscapes designed with care around the resonance and vibration of the handpan, encourage any stress to melt away, the breath to slow, and the mind to clear and still. Generally these sessions are experienced lying down to allow the body to relax entirely, but they may be done seated if needed, finding the most comfortable position to feel supported, safe, and at ease. While these sessions may evoke a release of held emotions, or illicit vivid inner imagery, ultimately they will induce a state of deep restorative rest. Following a therapeutic sound session, people express feeling calm, clear-headed, emotionally balanced, and rejuvenated, some reporting improved sleep, reduced stress, and a stronger sense of inner connection.
