Inspired by ballet exercises and functional fitness training, these Barre workouts integrate coordination, balance, and breath with precise low-impact movements to build strength, stability, and endurance, and to develop body awareness and control. The routines target all areas, working arms, legs, core, and glutes to promote long, strong muscle while improving mobility, alignment, and posture. The constant conscious movement, which challenges the body without overload, supports hormonal balance, regulating stress and reducing cortisol. The sessions flow with intention and focus, creating a supportive environment that invites us to connect with our bodies, cultivate presence, and feel empowered in nurturing our wellbeing. Classes follow a clear structure–warm-up, main routine, and cool-down–with the strong beat of electronic music marking the rhythm and keeping our energy up. All levels are welcome; Adriana will guide modifications and progressions so that each person can be safe and confident no matter their abilities or needs. Classes may incorporate weights, resistance bands, exercise balls or sliders to support muscle activation and control while maintaining fluid movement. Participants may be barefoot or wear socks; please bring a mat for certain floor exercises. In the space there are mats for rent for ₡1,000, mats for sale for ₡10,000, and blocks and props free to use. Barre classes are capped at 14 participants.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 1ST
2:30 - 5:30 PM
I’d like to carve out space for creativity more consistently, so I’m starting a monthly craft club to get together in a social setting to work on projects, share, and inspire one another. We’ll have tables and chairs, and also open floor space to get comfortable whether you’re making jewelry, knitting, sewing, drawing, bedazzling, etc. There is no fee to attend, but contributions to the space are welcome and appreciated. Feel free to bring snacks and beverages, bring anything else you need to be comfortable, and please bring your own drop cloth if you're working on something that could get messy with paint, glue, glitter, etc. I’m looking forward to making space for creativity and to forming friendships with others who share common interests. The metal element supports our clarity, focus, and precision. Metal enhances our capacity to think clearly and make good decisions.
Metal’s qualities of order and structure encourage discipline, organization, and efficiency. Its tendency to refine and purify ever elevates quality.
The metal element is linked with autumn because, like trees shedding leaves, metal relates to letting go of what no longer serves and creating space for new growth.
Wear metal for its properties of strength and resilience in the face of challenges; may it support a powerful unyielding determination.
